The Aadhar-Privacy and Security challenges

'"Data is the new oil'' .In 21 century data  is  a important thing have huge potential . The Aadhar had been successful in better delivery of subsidies and services .  with over greater than 1.3 billion people had been registered or  99%  of the people above 18 had been registered. the issue of aadhaar had been raised strongly by kerelas law and it minister ravi shankar  in the parliament.
Among all the advantages by UIDAI issued aadhaar there had been some concerns about the public privacy and security at vital time when goverment is expanding its use at entry at airport, open bank account, use as a personal ID etc.
the UIDAI had said that are no loopholes in the privacy & security of peoples but literally there are potential backdoor  in database of UIDAI , even though UIDAI neglect them.
1. There are no audit and prosecution for the fake enrollment by agencies.
2 clear evidences are there when aadhar records are easily available from agencies or other sources.
3. the aadhaar can be misused in opening of bank account, money laundering, terrorism, misuse in public distribution systems (PDS) etc.
4. It can be used for mining personal information with virtually no restriction.

Privacy is a vital issue at the time when rapid digitalization had been in process. it also raises legitimate questions about role and responsibilities of state or other agencies, which are custodial guardians of our digital footprint. these loopholes are needed to be fixed and strict prosecution needed to be carried out on leakage of information by these agencies.
