Issue of deportation of rohingyas from india! Is it morally imperative ?
Rohingyas are the illegal migrants of bangladesh that had seeked asylum in india during this decade. they had entered india through the means of bangladesh and bay of bengal. around 40,000 rohingyas had been officially registered with UNHCR in india. india had provided shelter to refuges of many countries during their socio -political turbulence, war etc. examples are :- shelter to bangladesh refugees, shelter to poland childrens during world war 2 , tibetan refugees , sri lankan tamil refugees etc. refugees often causes threat to national security as well as constraint to cultural & religion. . Due to geo-political reasons & Inorder to maintain healthy relationship with Myanmar indian govt. announced their deportation. it is morally imperative to India not to deport these rohingyas now as it will be against the principle of non refoulement ( deportation of refugees to place where they have threat to their life).
